10th Tsunami meeting

Sint Maarten hosted the Tenth Session of the Intergovernmental Coordination Group for the Tsunami and Other Coastal Hazards Warning System for the Caribbean and Adjacent Regions (ICG/CARIBE EWS-X) from 19–21 May 2015 on St. Maarten.

Approximately 60 delegates from countries in the wider Caribbean region, IOC-UNESCO, regional organizations and entities, as well as some other stakeholders attended.

Sint Maarten Fire Department in close cooperation with the Secretary General of the Sint Maarten National Commission for UNESCO were responsible for the logistics of the meeting.
