To prepare the 2015 participants for the 9th UNESCO Youth Forum, the Sint Maarten National Commission for UNESCO organized sessions with past youth participants for them to share their knowledge and experiences about the forum.

The National Commission would like to thank Mr. Kenneth Serrant and Ms. Melanie Choisy (past Youth Forum participants) for assisting with preparing the 2015 youth representatives, Ms. Majorie Cortico Ramirez, Mr. Ralph Cantave and Ms. Anisa Dijkhoffz for the 9th UNESCO Youth Forum, which was held October 26-28, 2015, in Paris, France.

Other individuals were also invited to share their knowledge on various topics that would be discussed at the Youth Forum.  Mrs. Okama Ekpe Brook of the Department of Interior and Kingdom Affairs shared information about the Sustainable Development Goals, whilst Ms. Laura Bijnsdorp of EPIC (Environmental Protection in the Caribbean) shared information about Global Warming.  The National Commission would also like to thank them  for their assistance.
